Community Guidelines
DealerSkill works because people feel safe practicing in front of their team. These guidelines apply to takes, feedback, chat and everything else you share.
Be professional and respectful
Treat teammates and managers the way you'd treat a great customer. No harassment, bullying, hate, threats, discrimination or sexual content, in takes, feedback or chat.
Coach the take, not the person
Feedback should help someone improve: point to a specific moment, say what worked, and suggest one thing to try next.
Keep customers out of it
Takes are role-play. Don't record real customers or share their names, phone numbers, deal details, credit information or other personal data, in takes or in chat.
When you film a walkaround on the showroom floor, pick a quiet moment and angle: no customers, no customer vehicles, and no coworkers who haven't agreed to be on camera.
Share with care
Only share takes and files you're comfortable with your team seeing, and only content you have the right to share. Remember that your General Manager and managers can read chat in your dealership.
Post with pride, and with care
Share your own wins on LinkedIn and social media, and follow your dealership's social media policy when you do. Never post a teammate's take, a chat message, or anything about a customer.
Use AI the safe way
Use the prompts in the Prompt Library only with AI tools your dealership approves. Never paste in a customer's personal information, and read what the AI gives you before you use it.
Honest progress
Do your own takes and practice. Sign-offs, levels and certificates reflect practice and manager approval inside your dealership, not an industry license.
